What's the deal with adding film to digital photography sessions?

Adding film to your photography session is like the icing on the cake. You'll have the clean crisp look of the digital along with the graphic, grainy, and warm analog images.

There's something so raw and real about film/analog photos, its the perfect addition. I have really been enjoying it as a hobby and I love the images so much I would love for my clients to have them as well! They are just so lovely and nostalgic! Replicating this can't fully be done through photoshop. Film focuses us to slow down and think carefully about each shot, and to be very specific and intentional about each shot. They're perfectly imperfect.

Film photography is re-emerging, even with Pentax coming out with a brand new half-frame film camera.
